The Oneida Indian Nation is six weeks from the first ribbon cut of Turning Stone Evolution, the largest reinvestment in tribal history at $370M, with a second opening following on Labor Day. What Just Happened

The two-stage opening is sixty days out.

Two openings on a single capital plan move Turning Stone from a regional gaming and hospitality enterprise to New York's largest meetings and conventions resort inside one summer.

  • June 29, 2026. Crescent Hotel and Salt seafood restaurant debut, ahead of original schedule. The first physical proof point of the $370M Turning Stone Evolution lands publicly on this date.
  • Labor Day 2026. Grand Expo opens, completing the second of the two-stage opening and establishing Turning Stone as New York's largest meetings and conventions resort.
  • Closed. Oneida Nation closed a $440M credit facility to finance the expansion. The financing is in place. The operational discipline that services it is built on what gets installed before opening.

Why Now

Every decision made before opening is cheaper than every decision made after. Governance, leadership bench, operating cadence, guest-experience standards, member accountability structures. All of these are easier to install on a pre-operational enterprise than to retrofit on a running one.
